Jingle Bells Christmas Tablescape

Christmas is right around the corner and the house is finally all decked out and ready to start receiving guests for the holiday. Last on my list is the Christmas tablescape.  Setting the table is my favorite thing to do because it just brings so much activity and color to the dining room.  I love walking by and seeing a beautifully set table waiting for good times and good food to start.

I started by using red base plates that I got from the Dollar Tree! They are amazingly pretty and you cannot beat the price. I then added a square white plate and placed it diagonally and layed a gold napkin on top.  Topped the setting off a snowflake plate that I found at Walmart this year. I love how they stand out against the white plate.

For the center, I used a collection of decorations that were scattered throughout the house. This is my favorite way of decorating because I don't end up buying new stuff and am able to give new uses to stuff I already have.  I made sure to add pops of red in the center to keep with my theme on the plate setting.

I gave some glittery touches to the shelving and radio by using the silver and copper DIY'd pine cones and by placing the Gold Imari bowl with leftover ornaments on the green garden stool.

I gave the end chairs some interest and color by making a bow and hanging a red ornament from the center.  I love how simple this was and how it changed the look of the chair.  The pop of the red color is so pretty against the beige of the chair.

Super simple but yet so pretty for a nice, relaxing Christmas dinner with family and friends!

I hope that this post inspires you to also create your own Christmas tablescape! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!!
