With the Holiday season fast approaching, there's always an increase in activity around our home. Decorating, shopping, and good old family time can sometimes unintentionally create unnecessary stress.
One of the ways that I avoid holiday stress is by planning. As you may have noticed, I'm a huge fan of planning and organizing. The more prepared and organized that I am, the better I'm able to handle the stress of the holiday season and I feel that I execute my decorating wishes/wants better. Always a win in my book!
I've created a FREE Holiday Planner to help with just that, a way to avoid the holiday stress and enjoy quality time with family and friends. Sign up below to get access to your FREE copy and see just how smooth and enjoyable your 2017 holiday season will be!

It's week three since I started refreshing our kids bathroom to accommodate a new little member of our family, our baby girl is due any day now. I'm quickly working away trying to get this bathroom ready in time before her arrival! This week, I'm focusing on all things accessories and organization to ensure that I have a functional space for my kids and overnight guests.
Now that the holiday season has passed, I'm turning my focus on cleaning my home in preparation for our baby girl! But being 8 months pregnant is definitely slowing me down from my usual cleaning routine. I've had to developed a plan to quickly clean my home and KEEP it clean.
It's week two of the $100 Room Challenge and I've been in full painting mode! Check out my progress on the nautical kids bathroom I’m currently refreshing for under $100!
When we first moved into our home, every ceiling light fixture in the house was a boob light. In every room, hallway, and bathroom, a boob light had been installed. You know the one, the dreaded boob light. They are super cheap and have been around for years but that sure doesn't make them pretty!
If you have an unsightly light fixture in your home too, updating doesn't mean that it has to cost you a lot of money. I've rounded up some of my favorite boob light replacements - all under $50.
With the new year comes the start of another $100 Room Challenge! If you've been following me for a while, then you know I love participating in this challenge where it allows me to update/refresh a space in my home for $100 in just one month. See what space I plan on tackling this round!
