Halloween and Thanksgiving - Two looks, Same Products!

This post is sponsored by Birch Lane.

Happy Sunday and Happy Halloween Eve!

I'm super excited to share this post today. I had a blast creating two different looks using the same items from Birch Lane. I jumped at the chance to partner with them on this project and I'm thrilled with all the items we got to test out.

When my husband and I purchased this house, we dreamed of hosting dinner parties for our friends and family. Sharing our home with others has always been something we enjoy and creating a beautiful table where we get to talk, eat and enjoy each other's company is half the fun!

While we love our home, it does have some limitations. Storage space is scarce and we have to be careful with the items we bring into our space. That's why I tend to gravitate towards pieces that I know will get used throughout the year instead of just one time. With Birch Lane, I was able to accomplish just that.

Halloween

Thanksgiving

Items that I used on both of these looks:

HALLOWEEN

Now that my kids are older, I’ve really learned to enjoy decorating our home for Halloween. It’s honestly not a holiday that I used to put a lot of effort into but just seeing my kids joy as the decorations come out, makes it all worthwhile. After decorating outside our home and entryway, my daughter looked at me said “what about the kitchen and dining room?!” So here we are, creating my first Halloween tablescape!

I started with these beautiful Lenox French Perle Scallop dinner plates. As soon as I saw them, I knew I had to have them. They are beautiful and make everyday dining just a little bit more special. I layered these fun black and white checkered board napkins to add some color before I layered in the Lenox French Perle Scallop bowls on top to complete the look.

Now that I had my base down, I could move into the jewelry of the table as I like to say! I’ve been dying to get a gold flatware set for quite some time now but never really had seen anything that I truly loved. That changed as soon as I saw these. I was so incredible impressed with the quality and how good this flatware feels in your hand and love the juxtaposition of the modern flatware next to the more traditional style of the dinnerware.

I kept things simple with the glasses. This set feels great in your hand and feel strong enough to survive our dishwasher, which was the main issue with our last set. One glass would always inevitably always come out broken!

I layered in silver antique candelabras and added black candles to make it look spooky. I then added my Halloween decor of skeleton hands and bones as a table runner. I had a blast creating this look and just had to take night time pictures to get the full effect.

The home bar got some spooky decor as well with the prettiest whiskey glasses.

In the kitchen, a beautiful black handmade wood bowl corrals red apples beautifully.

THANKSGIVING

I used the exact same products to style the dining room and kitchen for Thanksgiving with the exception of a few items, like the tablecloth. This tablecloth is super special to me because it was made in Ecuador, my home country. I love to bring it out for Thanksgiving because the colors are perfect and it just feels like the perfect piece to sit around with family and friends.

I loved using the cutting boards in different ways than in the Halloween style. They are so versatile that I could just put them anywhere and they would look good!

I’m in love with this small Staub pumpkin cocotte, it’s so pretty and picture us using this to make soups once the weather in Florida finally starts acting like it’s Fall!

One of my favorite pieces that I just know I will be able to use in tons of different spaces in my home is this small mustardy yellow vase. I love the shape and how small it is that I can see myself using it in our bedroom, office, living room, or dining room. Such a versatile piece, beautiful with or without flowers.

I really hope you guys enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed making it. My goal with my blog is to show you ways to create a home you love. These pieces from Birch Lane are so versatile and beautiful that I’m enjoying making dinner every night just so I can set the table again :)

A big thank you to Birch Lane for sponsoring this post!
