The Master Bedroom all decked out for Christmas

Happy Monday! Can you guys believe we have less than a week before Christmas?! AGH! I hope that you have gotten your Christmas shopping done but if you haven't, don't worry, I've got your back. Check out my post here to see all the last minute gift ideas I came up with (thank goodness for Amazon Prime and their 2-day free shipping!) and if you are running low on cash, I also have you covered, check out my full list of cute DIY gifts here.

I have to admit, that decorating my bedroom for Christmas is something that I never used to do before I started blogging but it's now become one of my favorite spaces to decorate. Why? Because there is nothing like laying down in bed after a long day and relaxing in a comfy space with twinkling lights enjoying the holiday spirit.

You see, this year I decided to place our Christmas tree in front of our three slider door so that the tree could be practically seen from every room. Check out the Holly Jolly Great Room reveal if you want to see more of that space. By placing the tree in this location, I get to enjoy the twinkling lights right from my very bed. My husband and I have been enjoying it so much that we may just have to get our very own Christmas tree for our bedroom next year!

The fireplace area got a little dressed up with some printables that I created earlier in the month. Check them out here if you want some of your own. It's such and easy, inexpensive way to decorate and one of my go to's whenever trying to give a space a little pick me up.

I had a bit of fun decorating our TV area this year by using things that I had leftover from decorating the rest of the house.

For above our bed, I switched out the flowers and added some faux poinsettias from the Dollar Tree. It was such an easy change and really set the tone decorating the rest of the space.

I dressed up the mirrors above our nightstands by simply using leftover ornaments and hanging them with some fishing wire at different lengths. Love the festive touch that they bring to the room.

And the last little area in our bedroom is my absolute favorite this year. I have been loving all the Christmas wood signs and scrolls that are all over Instagram and so desperately wanted one of my own but I didn't like the price tag that came with them, so I decided to try and DIY something similar with supplies I already had at home. I simply used brown craft paper that I have been using to wrap all our presents and used a black sharpie to create this Merry Christmas sign. I then just simply wrapped my existing art piece with the brown paper. I love how it looks and I especially love the price!

That's it you guys! I hope you liked this little tour of our bedroom all decked out for Christmas.

Happy Holidays!
