If you follow me on Instagram (@dapperhouseblog) you know that I have been looking for wall sconces for quite a while now to replace a couple of lamps that I have in my hallway. Happy to report that I finally found sconces that I LOVE and the best thing about them is that I got them for FREE!

How you ask? With Honey - a browser extension that automatically finds and applies coupon codes at checkout with one single click.

If you are a big online shopper like I am, you must look into Honey. I get to shop at my favorite sites like I typically do and whenever I am ready to check out, I have Honey check for coupon codes to see what kind of discount I can get. I have made it part of my online shopping routine, so I use Honey almost daily!

And that's not all that Honey can do. You can also receive points (HoneyGold) for purchases at some of your favorite stores, like Bloomindales, Target, Walmart, and many more! So you earn money on stuff that you would be typically buying anyway! So easy!

Recently, I was lucky enough to have accumulated enough HoneyGold to get $100 worth of Amazon gift cards! I was so stoked when I found out that I immediately started searching Amazon for the perfect sconces. I was so pleasantly surprised that the sconces that I feel in love with were only $44.99 each! YAY!!

Thanks to Amazon Prime, I got the lamps in two business days and begged my dad and hubby to help install them for me that same day.

Ready for a full reveal of our main hallway?

One of the reasons that we loved this floor model when we were searching for a house was the high the ceilings in this model.

I decided to draw attention to the ceiling height by getting a pretty pendant light from Joss & Main to help draw your eye up. They no longer sell the exact one I got but here is one that is similar in style.

In order to get more storage space, we decided to use a dresser as a side table along the hallway. It is amazing how versatile this dresser is from Overstock! It looks beautiful in this space and provides us with much needed storage. I keep my linens, craft supplies, and extra decor items here.

I then decided to use a large mirror for above the dresser so that it would reflect light to make the room feel brighter. Flanking the mirror are the two sconces from Amazon. I decided to go with a brass finish to have them pop against the wall. Mixing metals is one of my absolute favorite ways to update a space right now and I plan on trying to do it throughout my home.

On the opposite wall, I recently created a gallery wall with some of our favorite pictures of our family and of our travels. It was so super easy to create with this frame set that I got from Amazon. Not only did it come with all the frames, but it also came with a template making it super easy to hang.

I just love how this area is coming along! Like with anything in our home, it is still not fully finished yet. I still have a lot of wishes for this space but thought that I would share with you some of our progress for now.
