Easter Table Decor

Happy Easter! How crazy is it that Easter is already here?! 2017 seems to be flying by!

I have to be honest, I don't have a lot of Easter decorations.  Storage in our house is slim, so I have to be smart with what I bring into our home.  So when trying to decide how to decorate our tablescape this Easter, I decided to head over to the Dollar Tree. I figured that I would get a couple of items that I could use for Easter and if I didn't find space to store them, I could just toss them after I was done.

I bought several Easter eggs without a plan of how I would be using them.  The Dollar Tree has tons of different kinds and styles and I knew that I could either DIY them to paint them to fit my decor or I could try to incorporate them as is.  I decided to do the latter as when I brought them all home, I realized that they would help me make a great center piece!

I simply stuck a few Easter eggs into my existing faux grass. I love how it turned out! The colors in the eggs are so springy and definitely bring life to the grass that it almost looks real.

The little egg shaped plates came from the Target dollar isle and they make a great little addition. Investing in smaller decorative plates that work with your existing china is a great way to decorate with the seasons without having to spend a lot of money and save on space.  It is absolutely my favorite way to update my table. I finished off the plate setting by place a colorful Dollar Tree egg on top.  Simple and cute!
