Master Bedroom Christmas Decor
Hello friends! I hope that everyone is having a great holiday season and that you have been enjoying reading the series of posts this past week of my holiday decor! It has really been so much fun sharing with your guys and I hope that it has brought a little holiday joy to your homes!
This post is all about the master bedroom. Now, I typically don't do much decorating in here because I have always been focused on the great room (if you haven't seen that reveal, check it our here!) But I saw these flannel sheets while browsing at Target and I knew that I had to do it this year. I love all of the colors in these sheets, blue, green, white and red, and I thought they would go perfectly with my current decor in the master bedroom while adding a little Christmas touch. By adding some red pillows it ties in nicely with all the other Christmasy decor in the room. I finished the bed by adding a lovely throw pillow from Home Goods. It really pulled the whole look together.
I also added these two throw pillows to our sitting area. These are throw pillows that my mom DIYd years ago when I was little girl by braiding ribbon. They are so cute and remind me of when I was younger that when she offered them to me, I knew I had to take them.
On top of the table I used some of our leftover ornaments and filled the lantern. I love how you can see all of the ornaments through the glass and how the light reflects through it. Above on the painting, I simply hung a kissing ball to give it some texture and tie in the Christmas theme.
Over on the fireplace area, I replaced some of the pictures with some Christmas printables. If you follow me on instagram (@dapperhouseblog) you know that I have been obsessed with using free printables this holiday season. Make sure you check back on the blog on Thursday where I share some of my favorites! It is such a fun, easy way to bring some holiday touch to any room. And the best part is that it is free!
And my favorite spot, is my little corner on my bedside table where I added a picture of my baby boy by the Christmas tree with some fresh roses.
Simple and easy is what made decorating this room so much fun. I love walking in here after a long day and seeing my bed all decked out in its holiday gear. Makes going to sleep that much more fun!
